Old one: Done in one month in 2015 October, sculpted, fibermesh, polypainted & rendered in ZBrush (single pass), eye proportions is all the way off. Learned a lot of everything from ZBrush sculpting to anatomy. Used a lot of ref.
New one: Done in half a day, sculpted in ZBrush, ZRemesh & RizomUV for low-res & UV, textured in Substance Painter & rendered with RedShift in Maya. No ref, all from imagination.
