Comparison of my old Wolverine (my first portrait sculpt I did in ZBrush) to my latest one.
Old one: Done in one month in 2015 October, sculpted, fibermesh, polypainted & rendered in ZBrush (single pass), eye proportions is all the way off. Learned a lot of everything from ZBrush sculpting to anatomy. Used a lot of ref.
New one: Done in half a day, sculpted in ZBrush, ZRemesh & RizomUV for low-res & UV, textured in Substance Painter & rendered with RedShift in Maya. No ref, all from imagination.
Yeah, finally I decided to create my Twitter account after years of denying it.
Give me a follow or leave your Twitter link here so I can follow you guys!

Previously my tutorials came with JPG images. I find it's not so convenient to read them, so I added PDF formats to my existing tutorials:
- The Making of King Arthur - A 3D Character Tutorial (gum.co/arthurtut)
- Making Torn Fabric in SP (gum.co/fabrictut)
I hope it makes it easier for you to read my tutorials.
